Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the World City Explorer mobile application (“the app”), developed by Alberto Rodríguez Salgado (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.

2. In-App Purchases

• City, region, and world unlocks are one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases.
• All purchases are processed and billed by Apple. Prices shown in the app are presented by the App Store in your local currency. Purchases are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms.
• You can restore previous purchases at any time from the app’s settings or paywall.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; we are not able to issue purchases or refunds directly.

3. Content

The app’s narrations, text, images, and other materials are provided for your personal information and enjoyment. We work to keep content accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current, or error-free, and it should not be relied upon as professional travel, safety, legal, or medical advice. Always use your own judgment and follow local laws and conditions while travelling.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) copy, redistribute, sell, or publicly perform the app’s audio, images, or other content; (b) scrape, bulk-download, or attempt to extract the content other than through the app’s intended features (including its offline-download feature for content you have unlocked); or (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

The app and its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

7. Apple standard EULA

Unless a separate written agreement applies, your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
