World City Explorer (“the app”) is an offline-capable audio travel guide developed by Alberto Rodríguez Salgado. We designed it to respect your privacy: the app works without an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.
City, region, and world unlocks are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Audio narrations and images are streamed from our content-delivery network (provided by Cloudflare). To deliver content and protect the service against abuse, our CDN provider processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address and the file requested) in its server logs. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other data about you. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
The app may write technical logs on your device to help diagnose problems. These remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them with us, or unless you have enabled Apple’s standard, anonymized crash and analytics sharing in iOS Settings (which is governed by Apple).
The app is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we don’t collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You control everything locally: revoke permissions in iOS Settings, delete offline downloads in the app, or remove the app to erase its on-device data.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest version.
